Camporee

May 2002: Camporee

The theme of Camporee 2002 was "Rock-n-Roll"--with a focus on the 50s and 60s--and maybe a bit of the 70s.	The opening of Camporee was really funny this year: Sandy and Jan and several others dressed up as the Beatles!
Andrea, Jennica, Krista, Megan	As with any Camporee, there were plenty of crafts. Here are some pictures of the girls making flowers, vases, and other such things!
The trip across the swinging bride was fun--we went across one at a time, as the girls all chanted "Don't look down! Don't look down!"--but if you didn't look down, you ended up stepping in the mud!	The girls dressed up in various clothes (prom, hippy...) and then, for some reason, I didn't get the group picture until after they'd changed! (Andrea, Katie, Krista, Amy, Allie, Alyssa, Megan, Julia, Jennica)
Of course, there was some time just hanging around!	And then, the closing ceremony at the end of the day...
