Give me the kid: skip the process!

Being pregnant isn't fun!  (disclaimer: for some women, we're all different, etc.,   But if your pregnancy was a piece of cake and you felt great through the whole thing, please don't tell me; I wouldn't want to read it either, although I'm happy for those of you for whom it's true)

I don't want to be pregnant; I want another child.  As far as I can tell, being pregnant is the most straightforward way to accomplish that, but pregnancy isn't easy.

I don't think it's strange at all to hate the process but enjoy and want the results.  A colleague of mine has one (almost grown) child,
and she asked me the other day what it was like to be pregnant for the second time.  My reaction is: "Been there, done that--can I just have the kid already???"

You're not alone, you're really not.  Lots of us like the fruits of
our labors more than the work itself!
